Description   Features
Iain Oughtred, born in Australia, was the architect of many small sailing and rowing dinghies that have proven to be very successful for professional and amateur boat builders alike. The Tammie Norrie was originally based on a rowing skiff.
“Bramble” has been custom altered to address current climate and pollutions concerns with her electric power unit, a Minn Kota Riptide RT EM 160 electric, twin propeller. She was home constructed to a high standard and completed in 2017. She is ideal for use on inland waterways, small lakes or lochs.
Constructed in wood using traditional clinker build method of overlapping planks in marine ply and other fittings in Larch. Decked bow and stern compartments provide useful storage and the central battery box makes a handy extra seat.
